Let’s Get Spiritual

I used to identify as Christian.

But now, I believe there is so much more than what that concept and practice could hold.

So much more than we have ever tapped into.

More that is abundantly available and accessible.

To ANYONE and EVERYONE!

We have such limiting beliefs - about pretty much everything.

We don’t think we are good enough.

We doubt that we will ever have or do what we dream of.

We scoff and scorn our lives; our past, present and potential.

We are easily discouraged, disappointed and disillusioned.

Other people annoy, aggravate and anger us.

We rant & rage about circumstances out of our control.

Hmm… could all this possibly play a part in why we aren’t attracting more abundance?

How can we allow more into our lives?

There is a strong spiritual movement that has been picking up speed in the last few years.

What used to be thought of as pretty woo-woo, is now mainstream.

Even for faithful followers of various religions, there is an element of spirituality in this movement that they can relate to, if not fully accept.

It’s hard to argue with the evidence.

Scientists are on board, especially those who have tried to disprove and discount, and in so doing, found even further evidence to support a strong spiritual presence.

I personally accept the existence of both good and evil in the physical and spiritual realms.

What I choose to believe is that the good is far more prevalent, more powerful, and does not require us to somehow qualify to receive all the abundance readily available to us.

Why can’t we embrace this rather than brace for disappointment or lack?

How often in our lives do we secretly desire and dream of a Plan A, but actually expect to get Plan B (or C, D, or K)?

In Jann Arden’s book, “If I Knew Then”, she shares a story, told to her by her grandmother, about an angel who shows an elderly man a room in heaven full of wrapped gifts in many shapes and sizes. When he asked what this was - the angel explained that these were all things he’d never asked for over his lifetime.

😲

Whoa!

What is your gut reaction to this?

When I read it the first time, it hit me hard. I have been preaching and practicing what I felt was pretty decent manifesting and openness to receiving. But as I contemplated the stores of abundance available to me, to each & every one of us, it was unbelievably exciting and completely overwhelming. Consider all the years you've already lived and how many opportunities you've missed to ask for what you needed; to wish for more, to dare to dream, to reach for the stars; TO ASK.

Once you realize there is such incredible limitless abundance; can picture it in such a tangible way, it becomes exceedingly clear that not only are you blessed, but you are worthy of this magnitude of abundance, joy, comfort, ease; blessings.

Then another thought struck me... This storeroom, brimming with these gifts, these generous, wonderful gifts, were all for me alone. Each of these gifts, large and small, wore a label that read “To Deena. With much love, from the Universe.” Mind. Blowing. 🤯

There are multitudes of these same storerooms; one for each of us, ready and waiting for us to accept.

So, what is holding us back? Would knowing these exist and are available for the asking make a difference in our lives? What about our self worth? Our courage, hope, our trust? What would resonate most with us, with our personal values, our personal worthiness - would it be the level of love being offered, or the gifts themselves?

How would this knowledge have changed our lives, our choices and paths?

Could we be patient and trust the timing and packaging that the universe chooses for delivering our gifts?

How will it change us going forward? Can you keep the wonder, the excitement foremost in your mind? Like the anticipation of your birthday and Christmas - every. single. day. of your life? Right there. For the asking. Each blessing carefully chosen for you, wrapped and waiting; gifts and blessings to enrich your life, many you never dared to consider, or could, or would reach for.

You are not being greedy to be open to receive or willing to ask. These gifts are designated, chosen and marked already for you. It's not like you are walking through a heavenly mall, pulling stuff off shelves to hoard or coveting more. Do some window shopping - dream big dreams! What you receive does not deplete the stores for others. There is more than enough for EVERYONE in this abundant universe, despite what we have been led to believe.

So go ahead. ASK! And allow the abundance to flow to you. Watch for it! Expect it. Expect Plan A. There is no harm in trying.

Whether you consider yourself “spiritual”, or not, makes no difference to what is available to you.

You manifest daily, regardless of whether you are aware of it.

Imagine what you can bring to your life with more intention?!!

Now, go ‘shopping’!

(And while you’re at it, grab a copy of Jann’s book. I highly recommend it.)
